Youm-e-Istehsal on August 5 will mark the first anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, and Kashmir is still under curfew.

Neither Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah had the guts to visit Kashmir & answer the people in this entire past year.

Turned into an open-air prison, where people being punished and criminalized for showing dissent; the atrocities inflicted upon Kashmiris are a textbook definition of crimes against humanity. 

However, the people and the leadership of Pakistan has always stood beside Kashmiri brethren and supported and will continue to do so to their right of self-determination.

In this regard, the entire nation will observe Youm-e-Istehsal on August 5 to show solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people on completion of a one-year military siege by brutal Indian forces.

It was on the 5th August last year, the same day that witnessed the abolition of Kashmir’s special constitutional status.

A host of events have been arranged in order to denounce the Indian unilateral illegal actions against Kashmiri people as well as the atrocities being carried out by the Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Imran Khan address 

Prime Minister Imran Khan will address AJK Assembly tomorrow to reaffirm Pakistan’s support to the cause of Kashmiris.

President Arif Alvi Address 

President Arif Alvi will lead the walk-in Islamabad.

Solidarity walks

Solidarity walks of one mile will be arranged in all the main cities including the federal capital.

The Participants of the walk will wear black bands and carry the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

One minute silence

One minute silence is to be observed across the country.

Traffic to be halted for one minute and sirens will be played.

Pakistan and AJK National anthems

The television channels and Radio will play Pakistan and AJK National anthems immediately after one-minute silence.

Senate Session

A special session of the Senate has also been summoned tomorrow in which glowing tributes will be paid to the sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people for their just struggle.

Today Radio Pakistan released three special songs on Youm-e-Istehsal.

Earlier Radio Pakistan released two short documentaries on the occasion of Youm e Istehsal that exposed the face of Modi’s India.

The documentary highlights Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, while the documentary criticizes the BJP and the RSS.

The documentary also mentioned India’s disgrace at the hands of China on the border and its dispute with India and Nepal.

The documentary said that BJP, RSS have been suffering from incurable diseases, some diseases are curable and some are incurable.

The documentary also states that the Hindutva virus in Bhat is transmitted from one generation to another and that the Hindutva virus is more destructive than the coronavirus.

The aftershocks of the virus will be felt for generations to come, the documentary added.

It is to be noted that the second documentary showed Indian oppression on Kashmiris.
