Pakistan Navy continues relief operations in rain-affected areas of Karachi

During a heavy spell of rain in Karachi, Pakistan Navy’s rescue and relief operation continued in various parts of the city.

Pakistan Navy‘s continuous relief operation in Karachi aimed to assist people and extend all necessary support in rain-hit areas.

Pakistan Navy Seaking helicopter conducted an aerial rescue of Korangi crossing, Quaidabad (Malir Nadi), and Goth Shafi Muhammad while aerial rescue with the help of a quadcopter was also carried out in Saddar Town.

During search and rescue operations, Pakistan Navy Divers recovered two dead bodies from Shah Faisal Town and Korangi crossing areas while 55 individuals were evacuated from flooded areas of Malir and Korangi crossing.

Moreover, Pakistan Navy Emergency Response and rescue teams evacuated stranded people to safer places and recovered bodies being washed away in a flash floods.

Medical camps have also been established to provide treatment and medical assistance to hundreds of displaced patients with free medicines.

Pakistan Navy personnel in collaboration with local administration distributed cooked meal and ration bags among hundreds of evacuated people.

The rescue and relief operation by Pakistan Navy is being continued to extend assistance & ration distribution to various rain/ flood-affected areas.
