On Tuesday, India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) had filed a charge sheet against Jaish-e-Mohammad’s Moulana Masood Azhar, and 19 in Pulwama attack in 2019.
However, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesman rejected the charge sheet and said India is trying to “divert international attention” for Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Foreign Office spokesman, the charge sheet made by NIA is an attempt to implicate Pakistan in the Pulwama attack on Indian-occupied Kashmir last year.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry went on to say that the changes to the facts in the alleged charge sheet are designed for internal narrow political ambitions.
Earlier, Pakistan had strongly rejected remarks made by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson on the Pak-China Strategic Dialogue.
Zahid Hafeez, Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement that,
“India’s self-serving claims regarding Jammu and Kashmir, including the parts which are under illegal Indian occupation, have no basis whatsoever.
