President Dr. Arif Alvi has given a message to the nation on the occasion of 74th Independence Day.
The President in his message said that I offer my heartfelt congratulations to my compatriots on the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan.
“Unlike in the past, this Independence Day is being celebrated in extremely difficult circumstances when the whole world has been hit hard by the Corona epidemic, which has had a negative impact on all walks of life, including the economy, health and education,” he said. ۔
“The outbreak caused a lot of problems, but we saw that our determined nation overcame them with a brilliant smart lockdown strategy, but we still need to take precautionary measures,” he added.
Dr. Arif Alvi said that on this historic day, I also pay tribute to our doctors, nurses and other people associated with the medical department who risked their lives to save the lives of others.
“On this auspicious occasion, I pay tribute to my compatriots who showed great solidarity during natural disasters and generously helped those affected,” he added.
Furthermore, he commend the efforts of the media, scholars, NDMA, NCOC, provincial governments and law enforcement agencies who played their role in raising public awareness in this regard and in implementing COVID-19 related SOPs.
He said, on this occasion, I would like to congratulate the nation and send a message that they should work steadfastly for the development of the country. The nation needs to unite to tackle the social, economic and security challenges it faces.
