Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the Chaman blast.
He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blast.
The Prime Minister prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
At least 5 people killed in an explosion that occurred in Balochistan’s Chaman area, leaving eight injured.
The bomb was planted on a motorcycle. Soon after the incident the rescue services rushed to the scene and shifted the deceased and injured to the nearby hospitals.
In March this year, nine people were injured after an explosion occurred near the Levies Lines in Balochistan’s Chaman area.
The blast took place on Taj Road in Chaman, which is located just kilometers away from the country’s border with Afghanistan.
The explosion was directed towards Levies Risaldar Maj Naseebullah who remained safe in the incident. He was traveling in his car along with his security guards when the explosion occurred.
The bomb was planted in a motorcycle according to initial information.
Let it be known that Chaman is considered a sensitive town in Balochistan as it shares a border with Afghanistan’s volatile Kandahar province.
