Prime Minister Imran Khan reaches Lahore

Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore today where he will hold a meeting with the chief minister and other officials.

According to the details, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will brief the premier on the performance of the province’s cabinet.

Imran Khan will also chair meetings of the National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction, and Development, and on education reforms in Punjab.

He will also address provincial civil servants, including secretaries, commissioners, and police officers through video links.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Ravi Development Authority.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Lahore on July 18 when he expressed his satisfaction over the performance of Punjab Chief Minister.

Prime Minister met the Punjab Chief Minister and the two discussed implementation of smart lockdown strategy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Imran Khan appreciated not only the Punjab government’s measures for curbing the virus but also acknowledged relief efforts of the provincial government for the public.

On the other hand, Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has a commitment to bring about change in Pakistan in real terms.

In a recent statement, the Information Minister of Punjab said the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government had a purpose to improve political and administrative structure of the country which remained neglected for decades.

He said that the Prime Minister’s strategy to curb the pandemic spread resulted in the recovery of 90 percent of patients.

Fayyaz said the whole world acknowledged Pakistan’s strategy against the virus adding that the number of corona cases became more than one percent due to the smart lockdown strategy.

The minister said the chief minister had awareness about difficulties faced by the lower strata of the society while he informed that 35,000 apartments would be built in Lahore with an investment of one billion dollars.
