On Tuesday, the Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad.
He was received by Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force on his arrival. The contingent of PAF presented him with a guard of honor as well.
According to the details, to pay homage to PAF martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland, the Naval Chief laid a floral wreath on the martyrs’ monument.
After that, a meeting between Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi and Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan held in his office. During the meeting, different matters concerning regional security and professional interest were discussed.
The Air Chief also appreciated different indigenous projects undertaken by the Pakistan Navy in recent years, which have turned out into potent force.
The Air Chief also reiterated to increase the existing synergy between the sister services and taking it to higher heights. Admiral Zafar also acknowledged PAF’s support to Pakistan Navy in strengthening Pakistan’s maritime defense.
