ISPR: COAS General Bajwa meets army veterans

Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa met with retired officers of the first batch of Pakistan Military Academy on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa interacted with army veterans in General Head Quarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

According to the ISPR, the Army Chief paid tributes to the role and sacrifices of the senior officers.

Earlier Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his heartfelt condolence on the demise of HH, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, DG ISPR tweeted.

The tweet stated,

“General Qamar Javed Bajwa,#COAS, expressed heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of Amir of State of Kuwait, HH, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.”

The tweet further stated,

“May Allah Almighty bless his soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen.”
