Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the federal cabinet to discuss a 16-point agenda on September 15th.

According to the details, the federal cabinet will make the final decision about the hiking electricity tariff up to Rs2.89 for K-Electric approved by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC). In the upcoming meeting of the federal cabinet, the decision of ECC’s decision taken on September 2 will also be included in the agendas that are to be discussed.

The issues of pilots’ license suspension will also be discussed by the cabinet members in the meeting. Moreover, the Constitution (Amendment) Bill 2020’s draft will also be presented to the Prime Minister for its approval in the session.

The appointments of chief executive officers (CEOs) of National Disaster Risk Management (NDRM) and National Fertilizers Corporation’s (NFC) summaries; as well as a summary for deputing a member in the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) will also be presented in the meeting.

On the other hand, matters related to the Civil Service Academy and amendments for the construction of a modern jail in Islamabad will also be highlighted. In special courts of Peshawar, Lahore, and Islamabad, the summaries regarding the appointments of the judges will also be presented for final approval before the federal cabinet.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be visiting Lahore on September 15th.
