Education Minister Sindh Saeed Ghani has urged the educational institutions to complete their arrangements for implementing Standard Operating Procedures coronavirus (SOPs) before September 28.
According to the details, he paid surprise visits to various schools and colleges in the district east of the metropolis to review implementation on the health-protocols to contain the dread virus.
The minister reviewed the arrangements at the educational institutions and directed them to ensure social distancing and implementation on the SOPs.
Saeed Ghani urged the educational institutions to complete their arrangements before September 28 and added to call students in two shifts, if the number of the students is high.
Sindh minister said strict action would be taken against the educational institutions if the designed SOPs were neglected.
Saeed Ghani also said that show-cause notices would be served to the ghost teachers.
the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) allowed the reopening of the secondary schools (Class 6 to Class 8) across the country from September 23.
The NCOC meeting on the opening of educational institutions was attended by Federal Minister Asad Omar, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, and Interior Minister.
After the first phase, a total of 35 educational institutions across the country were closed after coronavirus cases emerge in educational institutions.
