On Wednesday, the Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in different parts of the country including Karachi.
According to a statement issued by the Meteorological Department said that monsoon winds will enter different parts of the country from Thursday due to which heavy rains are likely to receive across the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, dry weather is forecasted for the next 10 days in Sindh including Karachi but light rain is possible in some parts of the province.
The statement further revealed that a new cycle of rains would begin from Thursday in upper areas including Lahore while heavy rains were threatening urban flooding in Lahore and other major cities.
The Meteorological Department has issued an urban flood alert in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Lahore due to heavy rains.
Cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Kasur, Okara, More thundershowers are forecast in Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Dir, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, will receive heavy rainfall from Thursday.
