On Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed strict measures to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus at the country’s airport.
According to the details, at Karachi airport, only one visitor will be allowed as well as at the Bacha Khan and Quetta international airports. People who will be coming to receive their guests from the airport are directed to wait in their own vehicles.
On the airport premises, wearing a face mask has been made mandatory for everyone.
Earlier in the month, CAA had issued new travel guidelines for the passengers in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to the details, passengers reaching Pakistan from abroad were divided into two categories
As many as 30 countries including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, China, Japan, New Zealand have been placed in the ‘A’ category, and passengers traveling from this category were not bound to go through the PCR test for coronavirus while traveling to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus test had been declared mandatory for the passengers traveling from the countries, who were placed in the ‘B’ category by the CAA before 96 hours.
