A final police security plan has been issued for the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal processions and gatherings in Karachi.
According to the plan, 747 NGOs including 78 senior police officers, 4087 head constables/constables, 303 personnel including Special Security Unit commandos and 6 companies of Rapid Response Force will be on duty.
According to the plan, expert snipers of the Special Security Unit have been deployed at the sides and passages of the main procession while a heavy contingent of police personnel including senior police officers will be on duty to monitor the processions and gatherings on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Traffic flow will be maintained on the main procession routes and passages, including alternative routes arranged for the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal procession, for which traffic police officers and men have been deployed on all roads.
In this regard, the Karachi Police said that the police is providing full security to the Aashiqan e Rasool (SAW) participating in the processions and gatherings of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
However, the Police appeals citizens to report the suspicious and unusual situation to the police immediately.
