Chief of the All Pakistan Ulema Council in Pakistan, Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has said that enemies of the country want to destabilize the law and order situation in Pakistan.

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Ashrafi while talking to media said that India wants to spread chaos in Pakistan and the killing of Maulana Adil is a conspiracy of enemies against us.

He said that the Sindh government should have provided security to Maulana Adil Khan, who was assassinated in Karachi on Saturday.

He said that no leniency would be shown against those who spread mischief, adding that India had also faced embarrassment in Afghanistan. Israel and India are agents of hatred and violence in Pakistan.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan while strongly condemning the targeted killing of Maulana Adil Khan of Jamia Farooqia in Karachi has said that India is attempting to target Ulema to fan sectarian rift in the country.

In his series of tweets, the Prime Minister stressed upon the Ulema from all sects that they must ensure that people did not fall prey to nefarious Indian design to destabilize Pakistan by fueling sectarian conflict.

Imran Khan said we have prevented a number of such attempts preemptively in the last few months.

He said that our intelligence organizations and law enforcement agencies will nab the culprits of this murder also.
