The case of the massive blast at Maskan Chowrangi that killed five and injured 25 has been registered in Gulshan-e-Iqbal PS in Karachi on the complaint of the Bank branch manager.

The Government of Sindh has announced that it will pay for the treatment of the people who got injured in Wednesday’s blast in Karachi. The Sindh Government has also issued a notification in this regard.
As per the notification, the Sindh Government will pay for the treatment of the people who were injured after an explosion hit a residential building near Maskan Chowrangi in the Gulshan e Iqbal area of the city.
The incident took place in a building near Abul Hassan Asfahani road Gulshan Iqbal on Wednesday, leaving a portion of the four-story building collapsed.
The blast has caused major damages to the structure of the building that is why it is necessary to demolish it.
The Sindh Building Control Authority has also informed the security agencies about the operation.
The blast led to chaos among the people, initial reports said. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Police and Rangers cordoned off the area. The building is two storeys high and residential.
