Maskan blast: CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah takes notice

Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the blast that took place near Maskan Chowrangi today morning.

According to the spokesperson of CM Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life

He also sought a detailed report from the Commissioner Karachi. In addition to this, he also directed authorities to arrange immediate medical aid for the injured.

Apart from that, he also gave instructions to speed up rescue work and to evacuate the citizens present in the building.

On the other hand, Murad also instructed Sindh’s education Minister Saeed Ghani to reach the spot.

At least 3 people have died and 15 have injured as An explosion has been reported near Maskan Chowrangi Wednesday morning.

The explosion took place near Maskan Chowrangi in the Gulshan-i-Iqbal area, Karachi.

Several people got injured and the blast led to chaos among the people, initial reports said. The injured have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Police and Rangers have cordoned off the area. The building is two storeys high and residential.

A part of the building collapsed after the blast. The blast also caused debris to fall on vehicles parked below. A bomb disposal squad was called to the scene.

The bomb shattered the windows of nearby buildings and a large number of people and students arrived at the scene.
