Newly appointed Naval Chief Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi calls on President

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi called on President Dr. Arif Alvi on Thursday. 

According to the details, President Dr. Arif Alvi congratulated the new Naval Chief on assuming office. 

During the meeting, the President said that the Pakistan Navy has a key role to play in defending Pakistan’s maritime borders.

Pakistan Navy is playing an important role in safeguarding the country’s economic interests by providing security to Gwadar Port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi’s major command appointments include Commanding Officer PNS BADR, Commanding Officer PNS TARIQ, Commander18th Destroyer squadron, Commandant PNS BAHADUR, and Commandant Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore.
