On the occasion of 75th United Nations (UN) anniversary, Pakistan Armed Forces extend best wishes to the peace keeping organization.
In a Tweet on Saturday, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relation (DG ISPR) wishes the UN on its 75th anniversary on behalf of Pak Army.
“Pakistan Armed Forces extend best wishes to UN on its 75th anniversary. Pakistan has contributed over 200,000 troops in 46 UN Missions in 28 countries. 158 Pakistani Peace Keepers sacrificed their lives for global peace”, the tweet read.

Earlier in a day, President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have urged the UN to tale actions against Indian oppression in Occupied Kashmir valley.
They, in their separate messages said UN that the Security Council should put pressure on Indian government to end its brutality IoJK.
The President said the UN should get lifted the military siege and restrictions on communications and peaceful protests in the occupied territory.
Whereas, the premier said Pakistan will continue to play a leading role in the UN for peaceful settlement of international disputes and developing friendly relations amongst nations based on the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples as enshrined in the UN Charter.
This year the anniversary of UN is marked at a time of great disruption for the world, compounded by an unprecedented global health crisis with severe economic and social impacts.
