Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM Karachi Jalsa will be another massive political failure of opposition just like Gujranwala.

Talking to media in Multan, the foreign minister said no conspiracy against the people of Pakistan will succeed.

The foreign minister said that the Opposition does not have any magic wand through which it can solve the problems of the people. The PDM alliance is temporary and is an unnatural alliance because it has neither a leader nor an ideology. These people have gathered under fear.

“Opposition was given a chance in the past to solve people’s problems,” said Shah Mahmood Qureshi. He said that social media had exposed the reality of the opposition’s rally. The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is not responsible for all the problems, the nation knows that the former rulers are responsible for the current problems.

He said that we did not make cases against the opposition leaders but now their political future looks bleak.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM Karachi Jalsa will be staged at Bagh-e-Jinnah in the metropolis today.

The central leadership of PDM will be addressing the rally. Three stages have been set up for the political power show, One for the main PDM leaders. Other two for senior leaders of opposition parties. Each stage is 160 feet long, 20 feet high, and 50 feet wide.

The Jalsa will be started at 4:30 pm. During the gathering, the government has directed to implement coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) in order to curb the spread of the virus.

To ensures the security of the PDM leadership, barbed wire has been placed around the main stage where the anti-coalition party leaders will sit. Moreover, 4,000 policemen have been deputed for the security of the rally.
