Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president Fazal-ur-Rehman discussed Captain (R) Safdar’s arrest with PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
According to the details, PDM president Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman met with PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz today. The two discussed Captain (R) Safdar’s arrest.
Let it be known that Police on Monday arrested Senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (R) Safdar from his hotel room in Karachi.
The son in law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was taken into custody after he was booked in a case pertaining to the violation of the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid where he had chanted the slogan “vote ko izzat do (honor the vote)” and urged people to join him, while on a visit to the mausoleum with Maryam Nawaz.
Earlier JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman while addressing the PDM Karachi Jalsa paid tribute to the 18th October martyrs at the beginning of his speech and thanked the crowd for supporting the Pakistan Democratic Movement. He said,
“I pay tribute to the martyrs of October 18.”
While addressing the PDM Karachi jalsa, Fazlur Rehman told the main motive behind forming the Opposition alliance movement,
“The purpose of PDM is to restore the free democratic atmosphere. We are being forced to surrender to the government as a result of fraud.”
The JUI-F leader said that Imran Khan and his government PTI tried to scare and bribe us to withdraw the PDM movement, but we remained steadfast to our motive.
“It is not possible for us to accept this government,” said Fazl.
