Petroleum products‘ prices are likely to reduce from October 16.
According to sources, OGRA has sent a summary of the prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division. It further said that the levy rate on petroleum products might reduce.
By reducing the levy, modest relief will be given to the people, sources added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the revision in the prices of petroleum products will be announced by the Ministry of Finance.
Earlier for the month of September, the government had announced to maintain the prices of petroleum products for September.

According to the announcement, the price of petrol remained unchanged at Rs 103.97 per liter, high-speed diesel at Rs 106.46, kerosene at Rs 65.29, and light diesel at Rs 62.86 per liter.
