The Local Police in Gujranwala has revealed a traffic plan in connection with the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) public gathering scheduled to be held on October 16 (Friday).
As per the plan, people coming from Lahore have to park their vehicles in Satelite town.
Furthermore, the participants of the public gathering will reach the Jalsagah via Kacheri road walking.
However, participants coming via GT Road have been directed to park their vehicles at the Government Higher Secondary School ground and reach the Jalsagah via Nandipur Adda.
In addition to this, people coming from Sialkot will park their vehicles at the Dastagir Chowk ground and people coming to the PDM public gathering from Wazirabad have been asked to leave their vehicles at the General Bus Stand parking.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement, formed by the opposition to topple the government, will hold its first public gathering on October 16 in Gujranwala.
The rally is being spearheaded by the main opposition party, the PML-N, which has vowed to hold the gathering no matter “how hard the government pushes to stop it”.
Meanwhile, the government has reiterated that it will not create any hurdles for the opposition as long as the rally is peaceful and abides by the law.
