Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore to chair important meetings today and also attend the convention of the Insaf Doctors Forum.
According to the details, Prime Minister will have meetings with Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzzdar will brief the Prime Minister on the political situation in the province. Imran Khan will also meet active party leaders on the media front. He will also hold a meeting on the health card facility in Punjab.
Imran Khan will also be briefed about the ongoing development projects in the province. The Prime Minister will also consider various proposals for resolving public issues. Meetings with party leaders and the provincial cabinet are also on the schedule. Imran Khan will also issue special directives for party leadership and solution of public issues.
On Tuesday Prime Minister Imran Khan has given in-principle approval to establish 120 new accountability courts in the light of the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan met Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Dr. Muhammad Farogh Naseem in Islamabad and briefed him on accountability and gender-based violence across the country in the light of Supreme Court orders and made suggestions for the establishment of new courts.
According to a statement issued by the Federal Ministry of Law and Justice, the Prime Minister was informed that due to financial constraints, 30 new accountability courts would be set up in the first phase while the remaining courts would be set up in phases keeping in view the pressure of cases.
