Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that slogans of independence of Balochistan were chanted from the platform of PDM, India’s statement has become the statement of the opposition today, the soul of Narendra Modi has shifted to the opposition.

According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while addressing the National Assembly said that PML-N members are mocking us today, who is making Pakistan’s institutions controversial? Those who speak Indian narrative should be ashamed.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that attacks were being made on the constitutional institutions.

He said that Islam has been under attacked, the sentiments of Muslims have been hurt. He asked the opposition members to present a joint resolution.

Earlier today in a statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the French Ambassador to Pakistan has been summoned to the foreign office (FO) to lodge protest over the anti-Islam campaign.

Shah Mahmood has urged the United Nations (UN) to take notice and action against the hate-based narrative against Islam.

He said there is resentment in the world over the blasphemous caricatures.

He said the irresponsible statement of the French President has added fuel to the fire. He said nobody has the right to hurt the sentiments of millions of Muslims under the garb of freedom of expression.

The Foreign Minister said the seeds of hate that are being cultivated today will polarize the society and have serious consequences.

Such hatred will trigger violent attitudes and further divide societies, the Shah Mahmood said.

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister said a comprehensive resolution will be presented at the next meeting of the OIC foreign ministers, proposing to observe 15th March as the international day against Islamophobia.
