Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who is infected with the novel coronavirus, has said that an anti-government rally will be held in Multan on November 30, ‘No Matter What.”

According to the details, the Chairman took to his Twitter handle, with a hashtag of #JalsaTouHoga, he wrote: PTI’s government is so threatened by PPPs upcoming foundation day in Multan, Punjab. They yet again attacked & arrested our workers including @KasimGillani. We will host PDM on Nov 30 come what may. @AseefaBZ will be reaching to represent me.

It is pertinent to mention here that the local administration of Multan has arrested more than 40 activists over a clash with police deployed at Multan’s Qilla Kohna Qasim Bagh to bar the opposition’s PDM from holding a rally on November 30.

The security personnel arrested ex-Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani’s son Ali Qasim Gillani and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Saad Khursheed Kanju. The district administration placed over 30 containers to seal the venue and cut off electricity connections in a bid to create hurdles for the organizers. Workers at Qasim Bagh Stadium alleged that the equipment brought for the rally has been seized by the police and they were trying to bring in generators for the rally after the power connections were cut off.
