Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he will not only turn Gilgit-Baltistan into a province but it will also transform the lives of people.

Addressing an election rally in Nagar, he said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave a constitution to Pakistan while from 2018 he promised to give province to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made the mountains a witness and promised that he would bring constitutional and constitutional rights to Gilgit-Baltistan.

“Some people are thinking that by making Gilgit-Baltistan a province, the wheat subsidy will be abolished and taxes will be increased,” he said.

“I want to make it clear that we will not allow subsidies to be abolished or taxes to be increased,” he said.

“We condemn those who are trying to impose taxes through backdoors before forming a province,” he said.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan are looking for jobs for two degrees, we will provide them with employment.

He said that local people would be given priority in any ongoing CPEC, federal and provincial projects in Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said that the former president had also increased the salaries of the army by 75%, the increase in salaries and pensions was done only by the PPP government which no other government can do.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the foundation of Pak-China relations was laid during the tenure of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto while the friendship between the two countries has become active during the tenure of PPP.

He said that he would take the Gilgit-Baltistan provincial minister to China and tell him that success on CPEC could not deprive the locals.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he is aware of the land routes of Gilgit-Baltistan and is aware of the real problems here.

“When you elect me, I will try my best to solve your problems,” he added.

“I want two seats, not one, from Nagar,” he said.
