Chaudhry Shujaat hospitalized as he felt slight chest pain

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat has been hospitalized in Lahore.

According to the details, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain felt uncomfortable due to a minor chest pain after which he was shifted to the hospital.

The PML-Q President under treatment at Services Hospital’s where Dr Kamran Cheema is leading Ch Shujaat’s treatment.

X-ray reports and medical tests will arrive soon, detailing his current health situation.

Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had accused Chaudhry brothers, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and his cousin Chaudhry Pervez Elahi of accumulating illegal assets and money laundering.

According to the bureau, Elahi and his family members’ wealth has increased to Rs 4.06 billion while Shujaat and his family members’ wealth has shot up to Rs 2.55 billion from 1985 to 2018.

NAB alleged that the shareholding of petitioner Shujaat and his family has increased to Rs500mn in 2019 from Rs2mn in 1985.

The shareholding of Ch Pervez Elahi and his family members had increased to Rs3bn from 1985 to 2019. However, the family of Pervez Elahi had acquired properties worth more than 250 million.
