Complete lockdown imposed in AJ&K for 15 days

In view of the increasing number of corona cases in the country, a complete lockdown has been imposed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir for 15 days from tonight.

According to the details it was decided to implement lockdown across Azad Kashmir due to increasing cases of the novel virus. Before imposing the decision of lockdown in Azad Kashmir, police and district administration conducted a flag march in Muzaffarabad.

Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad said that the lockdown would be strictly enforced.

It is pertinent to mention here that the situation of corona in Azad Kashmir has been declared dangerous. In the capital Muzaffarabad, the corona rate reached 19%.

Earlier in the Azad Kashmir cabinet meeting, it was decided that from Friday, there would be simultaneous lockdown in all districts of Azad Kashmir, during which there would be a complete ban on weddings and other celebrations.
