The Foreign Office (FO) has taken notice of some fake news regarding Pakistanis residing in France being spread by Indian media and dummy twitter accounts.
In a statement, the FO Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said the baseless and misleading information is patently handiwork of Indian anti-Pakistan propaganda machine working overtime.
He said Pakistanis residing in France is law abiding and contributing positively to the French economy.
The Spokesperson said there are no complaints from them of difficulties in the aftermath of the recent developments.

On the other hand, Macron said Saturday he understood and respected the feelings aroused by caricatures of Holy Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) in a bid to calm tensions with Muslims in France and around the world but vowed never to accept violence.
The French president issued comments, hinting that he sought to calm flaring tensions with Muslims around the world. However, he lashed out at “lies” that the French state was behind the caricatures.
Why French President Receiving Criticism?
French President Emmanuel Macron is being criticized after he vowed not to give up on blasphemous caricatures.
Moreover, his comments came in response to the beheading of a teacher, Samuel Paty, a 47-year-old teacher, who was attacked on his way home from the junior high school where he taught in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.
According to reports, the teacher had shown cartoons disrespecting the Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H).
PM Imran Says Macron ‘Attacked Islam’
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also condemned Macron, saying that the French president “attacked Islam” by encouraging the display of the blasphemous caricatures.
He said Macron should have shown a “healing touch” to deny space to extremists but had instead “chosen to encourage Islamophobia by attacking Islam rather than the terrorists who carry out violence, be it Muslims, White Supremacists or Nazi ideologists”.
