IG Sindh Announces Award Of Rs 2 million For ASI Muhammad Bakhsh

IG Sindh announced a reward of Rs 2 million for brave police officer ASI Muhammad Bakhsh.

According to details, brave officer of Sindh Police SI Muhammad Bakhsh was invited as a special guest in a ceremony held at Central Police Office Karachi in which he was accompanied by his wife and daughter.

Upon arrival at the CPO ceremony, ASI Muhammad Bakhsh and his family were brought to the main stage in a beautiful horsecart.

Sindh government spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab, IG Sindh, renowned cricketer Yasir Shah and senior police officers were also present on the occasion.

SSP Kashmore Amjad Sheikh on the occasion said that the courage and bravery of ASI Muhammad Bakhsh in resolving the case of child abuse and arrest of the accused involved was commendable and laudable.

IG Sindh said that the history of Sindh police is full of sacrifices.

“The ASI daughter told her father not to be emotional anywhere until Alisha was recovered. I salute the girl for her determination and courage,” he said.

IG Sindh said that most of the opportunities for gaining honour and fame are available in the police department but success and achievement come only to those who are always engaged in the service of humanity.

On this occasion, he announced a reward of Rs. 2 million for ASI Muhammad Bakhsh from the Sindh Police Department and sent a recommendation for Sitara-e-Shujaat for him and Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his daughter.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that he has no words to praise this brave police officer. The feeling of service and sense of service in the society is still alive in the form of ASI and his family.

He further said that in order to build a proud society, it is necessary for us as a nation not only to awaken the same spirit but also to make concerted efforts in this regard.

Murtaza Wahab said that while learning lessons from this incident, there is a need to form a Sindh Police team to prevent gender-based violence for which the Sindh government will provide full support and assistance.

The special guest of the function, ASI Muhammad Bakhsh, while giving a brief account of the incident, said that the affected mother was crying when she came to me and I took her home as my sister.

The affected mother gave me 2 numbers, both of which I gave to the SSP. The affected mother stayed with my family for ten days and kept crying.

At the demand of the accused, she ensured him to bring another woman. I told my daughter to talk to the culprit on the phone. After gaining confidence, the accused called her to Kashmore.

My daughter went with the woman and kept talking to him on the phone. My daughter asked me not to carry a pistol because you are very emotional.

The police party present on the spot immediately arrested the accused. When the police team went to the accused’s house, the girl was wrapped in a dirty cloth. ASI Muhammad Bakhsh cried while narrating the incident.

He added that when the girl was taken to the hospital, the doctor who performed the operation.

The ASI said that the officers and youth of Sindh Police should perform the service of the suffering humanity as worship and should not leave any complainer alone or helpless and should cooperate with them as much as possible.
