Sindh government has allowed the operation of the Green Line Metro project today (Friday) in Karachi.
According to the details, the tender for the procurement of buses for the Green Line Metro project has been finalized in which 80 metro buses will be procured at a cost of more than Rs 3 billion.
Special buses for the Green Line bus project in Karachi will start arriving in Pakistan in seven months.
It may be recalled that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Sindh Infrastructure Development Company has been held in which a tender has been approved to award a tender to a bus manufacturing company which is among the top 10 companies in the world.
Besides, the procurement of 20 buses has also been approved for Edhi Orange Line Metro project.
