The Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Munir Akram has said that Islamabad has remained a committed supporter of the Palestinian people.

According to the details, Akram; in his message on the occasion of International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People, said supporting Palestinian right to self-determination and calling for an early creation of a sovereign Palestinian state is a cardinal pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Munir Akram said Pakistan will continue its unwavering support to the struggle of the Palestinian people to attain self-determination and achieve their independent state.

It is pertinent to mention here that on the 29th of November every year, the free people of the world celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1977, solidarity with the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to freedom and self-determination, and to establish their independent state on their national soil, with Jerusalem as its capital.

Despite everything, the Palestinian people are still clutching to their national identity and resisting Israeli plots to eliminate our culture and heritage.
