Prime Minister Imran Khan criticized PDM for holding jalsas as coronavirus cases surged in Pakistan.

PM Khan retweeted federal Minister Asad Umar’s tweet and criticized that the PDM members are playing reckless politics with people’s safety. He recalled that the same PDM members had wanted a strict lockdown earlier.

They are even defying court orders & holding a jalsa when cases are rising dramatically, he added.

His tweet comes as Federal Minister Asad Umar tweeted that Peshawar’s Covid-positivity ratio was 13.39% yesterday. He wrote that 202 patients are in critical care out of which 50 patients are on low flow oxygen. While concluding the tweet, he criticized PDM for holding jalsas.

“Peshawar covid positivity ratio 13.39% yesterday. Patients in critical care: 202. Of these 50 on low flow oxygen, 134 on high flow, and 18 on ventilators. 14 new critical patients just yesterday. PDM response: we will be safe on the stage so who cares what happens to citizens”.
