Ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) power show in Multan, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman addressed the participants of the ongoing rally.
Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that there would be protests all over the country on Friday and Saturday against the violence in Multan.
He also congratulated the people of Multan for participating in the successful and historic gathering.
He also criticized the government over arrest and torture on PDM rally workers. He said there would be huge protests all across the country.
Pointing towards Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PDM Chief said that we will chase the jackal until it leaves the country completely.
“Your ruling is called the ruling of coercion. Fighting against coercion is our only aim. I am sending a message to the workers of the whole country. We will meet again on December 13 in Lahore,” said Fazlur Rehman.
On the other hand, addressing the PDM Jalsa in Multan, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has also congratulated PPP for hosting the rally and welcomed Asifa Bhutto Zardari.
Maryam Nawaz also said that the sanctity of veil and wall are being violated, workers are being persecuted while our unarmed workers are being arrested.
Maryam Nawaz said that the government was hiding behind the Coronavirus pandemic and she also called Imran Khan’s government COVID-18.
She said that it is necessary to send COVID-18 home because this virus has infected the development, justice system and inflation of the country.
Maryam said that before the PDM announces its future course of action, the government should go home by itself.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz further said that our grief is nothing in front of the grief of 22 crore people.
Note that, the meeting of the Opposition Alliance is hosted by the PPP and was held on the 54th founding day of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Moreover, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also said that despite the oppression of the selected government, the people gathered. She also congratulated them on the founding day of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Aseefa Bhutto addressed the rally in her Brother Bilawal Bhutto’s absence, who is quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.
She reached Multan today via a chartered flight to attend the rally. She was received by former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and other party leaders upon arrival at the Multan airport.
