Prime Minister PM Imran Khan will visit Faisalabad today where he will be launching ‘Ehsaas Langar Scheme’ and various other development projects.
During his one-day visit, the premier will hold meetings with several businessmen, textile manufacturers, and exporters in the city.
According to sources, PM Imran will also meet party leaders during his stay in Faisalabad.
The Langar Scheme, an important component of the government’s social protection program Ehsaas aimed at poverty alleviation in the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that last week Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Turbat and announced a mega-development project for South Balochistan areas featuring the construction of 1,100-kilometre roads, skill training to 35,000 youth, and expansion of power and gas supply networks.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Ehsaas’ Taleemi-wazaef under the Waseela-e-Taleem program today, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government will assist the students of Balochistan in every possible way. In the past, Balochistan lagged behind due to a lack of funding. Balochistan has never received as much funding as PTI did.
He said that “no society has developed without education. Knowledge makes man unique from other creatures. The people of Turbat are the future of Pakistan. Balochistan is in dire need of educated people.”
