Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Zulfiqar visited Aqaba port of Jordan.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy, the Commanding Officer met the host officials and discussed issues of mutual interest.

The Jordanian authorities were also apprised of the Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the plight of Kashmiri people.

The ships of the two countries also took part in a joint exercise.

Earlier in October Pakistan Navy ship PNS Zulfiqar and Japanese ship “Onami” displayed their operational readiness at the naval exercises.

Director General Public Relations (DGPR) of Pakistan Navy Rear Admiral M Arshid Javed SI(M) said that various naval operations were conducted during the exercise.

This naval exercise reflects the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maritime security and regional peace and stability said the DGPR.

The exercise aims to further enhance relations and operations between the navy of both countries.

The DGPR further said this exercise will further strengthen mutual collaboration and enhance interoperability between two navies through the conduct of exercises and discussion on issues of common maritime interest.

Pakistan Navy and the Japanese Navy enjoy longstanding cordial relations. Both navies have been participating in Maritime Security Operations for a long time and conducting sea exercises on various occasions.
