According to details, Secretary-General PPP Nayyar Bukhari, while announcing the protest against the alleged rigging in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, said that the party organizations would hold peaceful protests outside press clubs across the country.
Nayyar Bukhari said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was participating in a public protest rally against vote thieves in Gilgit.
The PPP secretary-general also said that the protest rally of thousands of citizens in Gilgit was a referendum against the nexus between the government and the Election Commission.
Nayyar Bukhari said that party officials and workers would ensure strict implementation of precautionary measures during the protest.
PPP Secretary General Nayyar Bukhari further said that party organizations would hold demonstrations on Tuesday against the intervention of the federal government and the Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday announced that he will be joining a protest against Sunday’s Gilgit Baltistan GB elections 2020.

According to unofficial results, the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf won nine seats while Bilawal Bhutto Zardari-led Pakistan Peoples Party PPP came second with three victories.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League PML-N, Jameeat e Ulema Islam JUI-F, and Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen MWM have won one each while Independent candidates secured six.
Earlier today Pakistan Muslim League N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has alleged that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) took the lead in Gilgit Baltistan Elections 2020 through the rigging.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Maryam Nawaz said PTI neither had existence in Gilgit in past nor it has any future in the northern region. PTI took lead in the elections by bullying, threatening and rigging.
She criticized PTI for failing to secure a simple majority in the elections and said that his failure has exposed the mistrust of people in Imran Khan.
She added that despite using force and coercive tactics to change allegiances and then not securing a simple majority is a shameful defeat.
