Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq has said that PTI and opposition are rowing against each other only for ‘power.’
Addressing a rally in Swat, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq said that the present government has ruined the livelihoods and the country’s economy.
He said that the PTI government has disappointed the nation and made everything expensive while the only difference between PTI and PDM is the regime.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had promised that he would resign if the people protested against him.
JI ameer Senator Sirajul Haq earlier termed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s claim of putting the economy back on development track totally against the facts and amount to hoodwinking the masses.
“It seems that either PM’s aides are misleading him into a dreamland or he himself lacked the ability to understand the plight of the masses,” he said in a statement from Mansoora on Saturday.
Poverty, unemployment, inflation were the trademarks of the PTI government, said the Senator, adding thousands had lost jobs since the day PTI came to power and millions were starving as they could not afford one time meal a day due to skyrocketing prices of basic food commodities.
