Bilawal Bhutto makes huge claims about PTI during election campaign in Gilgit
The Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday...
During a press conference on Friday in Gilgit-Baltistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that it is everyone’s right to form a government through democratic means.
“We believe the right to form a government or the right to employment is sought through democratic means.” He added, “These will be taken through elections, we will not request for them,” he added.
The PPP Chairman had expressed his full belief in the people of Gilgit-Baltistan as he said,
“The people of Gilgit-Baltistan will vote for the party and enable them to form their government with a clear majority so that the PPP’s manifesto can be implemented in the province. ”
Bilawal promised that his party PPP will not let the current government rig the Gilgit-Baltistan Elections 2020.
While criticizing PTI and Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bilawal requested people not to elect PTI and called it a “tsunami of unemployment and inflation”.
He went on to lash out and said,
“This is the same party that lied to you about making Gilgit Baltistan a province,” said Bilawal. “This is the same party that told you will provide you 10 million jobs but did not deliver.”
PPP leader while addressing the conference recalled that he had visited different areas of Gilgit-Baltistan while campaigning for the elections, and requested people to vote for PPP.
“I have gone from house to house to secure your votes. If you do not disappoint me on November 15, I will not disappoint you ever,” he said.
He also warned the Gilgit-Baltistan police and political administration to “not interfere” in the elections.
Bilawal further told the people that he had talked about granting the people of Gilgit Baltistan should be made members of the National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan in his 2018 election manifesto.
The PPP chairman said that other political parties are now talking about the rights of Gilgit-Baltistan people for the sake of elections, otherwise, they did not have any “integrity”.
“The way you are asking me questions, they will also be asked these [tough] questions if tomorrow they win elections through the rigging,” he said.
