Chairman All Private Schools Management Association Sindh, Syed Tariq Shah has given a clear message regarding the educational institutions today (Friday).
For making his point clear, Syed Tariq Shah quoted Quaid’s saying,
“Quaid-e-Azam says education is a matter of life and death for us”.
He went on to say that,
“So now education and educational institutions will not be closed”.
The Chairman believed that the novel virus is being spread due to the government’s incompetence and political rallies.
He questioned that,
“What sort of corona is this that only spreads in schools but not in meetings, rallies, parks, and election campaigns?”
Shah further said that,
“60 million students in Kuwait have suffered irreparable loss of education? Private schools have been closed which will not be remedied. No relief package has been given but all kinds of taxes, bills, and rent have been collected.”
He also said that children are much safer in schools rather than being at home.
“Children are safer in schools. Only schools are where SOPs are strictly followed.”
While criticizing the political gatherings in the pandemic, Tariq Shah urged the higher authorities to take notice against them.
“Political gatherings and meetings endanger the lives of millions of Pakistanis. Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Army Chief, and NCOC take notice of illegal political gatherings and meetings.”
He also said,
“According to the advisory of the UN, UNICEF, Zionesco, and World Bank, schools should be kept open even in the fears of Corona, the closure has caused irreparable damage.”
Chairman All Private Schools Management Association Sindh told that there will be no winter vacations for the children as they have to complete their syllabus as well as the new session will start in April.
Private schools are fully complying with SOPs. Private schools have proved that students are completely safe in educational institutions don’t listen to rumors of school closures, wear masks, and follow SOPs.
Children’s education, health, and safety will be a top priority, action will be taken against those schools which are not implementing SOPs no compromise on health with education.
