Sindh government has withdrawn from another decision regarding business activities.
According to details, the Sindh government has suspended the order to close business in Sindh on Friday, after which small and big markets and shopping plazas across Sindh will remain open on Friday.
According to the notification, the business will now be closed for one day only during the weekly holidays.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalawani said that markets and shops in Karachi will remain open on Friday but the decisions of the NCOC will be implemented.
According to Commissioner Karachi, all shops and markets will be allowed to open till 8 pm.
Earlier today, the Sindh government has allowed the market to remain open till 8 pm.
The Sindh government has accepted the demand of traders and allowed the business to remain open till 8 pm instead of 6 pm.
A Sindh government spokesman said he hoped market associations would implement SOPs.
It may be recalled that the Sindh government had issued new SOPs in view of the increasing number of cases of coronavirus under which business centres were asked to be open from 6 am to 6 pm but the traders had rejected these times.
