At least three people have died in a fire that broke out at a factory in Orangi neighborhood on Friday.
As per the details, police said that fire erupted at the factory situated in Orangi No 4 in Karachi. The police team and fire brigade vehicles reached the scene after being informed.
Police said that the police team and fire brigade started the operation to extinguish the raging flames.
Police officials said that the fire has been extinguished but the cooling process is underway. Sources said that three fire tenders took part in the firefighting operation. The reason behind the fire is not known yet.
People who died in the fire were identified as Akram, Shahid, and Ismail.
Earlier, a fire broke out today at a warehouse located in Karachi’s Shershah area. BOL News reported on 17th November.
According to the details, at least five fire tenders and three water tankers were immediately called in to extinguish the blaze. However, the blaze has yet to be doused after six hours.
So far no loss of life or injuries has been reported. Due to narrow and dilapidated roads, the rescue teams are finding it difficult to contain the fire. The fire team is facing difficulty because of a shortage of water. As reported, the blaze has badly damaged the warehouse.
