On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the National Curriculum Council (NCC) in Islamabad, expressed his views on the coronavirus outbreak across the country.
PM Khan said,
“The second wave of the coronavirus is coming. We are very lucky that we have survived the coronavirus outbreak.”
The Prime Minister of Pakistan warned the nation about coronavirus and how rapidly it is spreading.
“The coronavirus has changed shape and is spreading rapidly,” said PM Khan.
The primer urged the people to wear a mask whenever they step out of their house as it reduces the spread of the novel virus.
“When going out in public, wear a mask first. It’s time to be careful, wear a mask, and follow the SOPs.”
Imran Khan also urged the people to follow the SOPs like in the month of Ramadan while going to the mosque for offering prayers.
“The whole world closed mosques in Ramadan but remained open in Pakistan. Our scholars have directed the implementation of corona SOPs.”
He further added,
“Follow SOPs in mosques like Ramadan.”
Imran Khan also told while speaking at the NCC meeting that all the rallies have been ended and will also direct others to end the rallies.
PM Khan also gave instructions about the weddings and said events should be organized in an open-air venue so that the corona should not be spread among the guests.
“No event will have more than 300 people.”
Regarding the schools Imran Khan said,
“We will make a decision about the schools in a week based on the situation.”
Earlier, Authorities in Islamabad had imposed a smart lockdown as coronavirus cases increased in the capital.
As per the details, authorities decided to seal certain sectors in wake of smart lockdown.
