Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb while criticizing the government said that every brick will be countered with a stone.
In her recent statement, the party Spokesperson said the preparations are underway for the Lahore Jalsa of Pakistan Democratic Movement, which is to be held on December 13th at Minar e Pakistan.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that Jameeat e Ulema Islam-F leader Ghafoor Haideri would also attend the next meeting of PDM. She added that the people of Pakistan have voiced their decision against the government of Tehreek e Insaf.
She said that wherever Prime Minister Imran Khan goes to address the public, coronavirus vanishes from that place. However, when the Opposition parties hold peaceful rallies, they resort to physical violence. Maryam Aurangzeb said that roads were closed to disrupt the Multan rally.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Punjab government has decided to register cases against the organizers of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) Multan jalsa.
The government had urged the Opposition to suspend public gatherings in wake of the second wave of Coronavirus.
After scores of cases were filed against the PDM party workers and leaders, the alliance opted for an alternate venue at Ghanta Ghar Chowk, which is situated around 1km away from the original Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh Stadium venue.
