Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that the expulsion of four senior leaders from the JUI-F for their due criticism of party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the worst form of dictatorship and fascism.

Taking to Twitter, he said that this decision shows that the JUI-F is under a dictatorship.

He added that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who did not tolerate slight criticism by his old companions has shown people how much democratic he really is. He asked whether this is the level of freedom of expression in the JUI-F.

In another tweet, Faraz said that People cannot be deceived by labeling the party as a democracy by dividing the posts among brothers and loved ones.

JUI (F) takes Disciplinary action against four members

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has canceled the membership of four members over violation of party discipline.

According to the details, the Disciplinary Committee of JUI-F expelled Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan and Shujaul Mulk.

The decision was unanimously taken by the committee members Agha Ayub Shah, Maulana Abdul Wasay, and Maulana Abdul Hakeem.
