Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has paid homage to the founder of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, saying: “Faith, Unity and Discipline shall always remain guiding principles of our great nation.”

December 25th marks the birth anniversary of the Quaid, which is being observed across the country with national zeal and fervor.

No power on earth can undo #Pakistan, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a tweet on Friday

“Nation celebrates #Quaid’s anniversary with great reverence and commitment upholding his message of hope, courage & confidence. Faith, Unity and Discipline shall always remain guiding principles of our great nation” the military’s media wing quoted General Qamar as saying.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on this day in 1876, in Karachi. He received his primary education in the port city and went abroad for higher studies.

Under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam, Muslims struggled for a separate country. Only a year after the establishment of Pakistan, he passed away on September 11, 1948.

On the occasion of his birth anniversary, special events are being held all over the country.
