After Karachi and Islamabad, the local administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has banned indoor dining at restaurants and hotels across the province.

According to the details, the decision was taken by the administration in view of the increasing number of Coronavirus Cases in the province.

According to a notification issued by KP Home and Tribal Affairs Department, the decision was as per directives of the National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) and declaration of health emergency in the KP.

As per the notification, strict action would be taken against the violators.

Pakistan has recorded 3,499 new cases and 39 deaths due to the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours

According to the Government’s portal, 39 more people succumbed to the dread virus, taking the death toll to 8,205.

1,586 patients have recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours and 2,469 patients are in critical condition. The current toll of active cases stands at 51,654.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), with the fresh addition of the infections in the country the national tally of cases now currently stands at 406,810.

A total of 42,904 tests were conducted across the country during this period. 346,951 people have recovered from the deadly disease while 5,627,539 samples have been tested so far.
