Pak-China joint air exercise ‘Shaheen 9’ has started at Pakistan Air Force Operational Air Base.
According to the spokesman of the Pakistan Air Force, the joint air exercise between the Pakistan Air Force and the Chinese Air Force (PLAAF) ‘Shaheen 9’ started at an operational airbase of the Pakistan Air Force.

Air Vice Marshal Waqas Ahmed Silhari, Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Pakistan Air Force and Major General Sun Hong, Assistant Chief of Staff Chinese Air Force (PLAAF) were present on the occasion.
Major Gen Sun Hong said the joint air exercise would help further enhance combat training and boost co-operation between the two air forces.
Air Marshal Waqas Ahmad Silhari said that these exercises would enhance the military cooperation between the two countries in general and between the two Air Forces in particular.

The Chinese Air Force contingent consists of pilots, air defense controllers and technical staff who will take part in the exercise.

This military air exercise between two countries makes this friendship more strong.
