Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that targeting UN observers on the line of control is a serious violation of diplomatic etiquette and international law.

In his recent statement, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the international community must take notice of Indian ceasefire violations. India poses a threat to regional security and the world community must take strong action against the Indian atrocities in Kashmir.

“We have informed the international community that Pakistan has solid intelligence that India can carry out a false flag operation under any pretext.” Added Qureshi.

He added that Pakistan will give a befitting response to Indian for any kind of military adventurism.

Pakistan to give Befitting Response

It should be noted that on Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that if India was to be reckless enough to conduct a false flag operation against Pakistan, it would confront a strong national Pakistani resolve and be given a befitting response at all levels of the threat.

He said that already, in 2020 alone, there have been 3,000 Indian ceasefire violations along the LoC and Working Boundary, by unprovoked firing deliberately targeting civilians – resulting in 276 casualties, of which 92 were women and 68 children.

“I want to again warn the world community, as India’s internal problems mount, especially economic recession, growing farmers’ protests and mishandling of COVID 19, the Modi govt will divert from the internal mess by conducting a false flag operation against Pakistan,” he said.

Imran Khan added that in complete violation of the international law, India’s deliberate firing at LoC on UNMOGIP vehicle, despite clear UN markings and flying blue UN flag, shows India’s total disregard for all international norms of acceptable state behavior and respect for international law and the United Nations. “Pakistan strongly condemns this rogue behavior.
