Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Lahore Jalsa kicks off here on Sunday (today) at Minar-e-Pakistan, with a gathering of 10 to 15 thousand attendees.
According to police sources, around 8,500 people participated in the PDM Lahore Jalsa, while according to the special branch around 10,000 people attended the public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.
9,0000 to 10,000 participants are currently present in the jalsa, sources told.
However, addressing the public, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz targeted Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that when he doesn’t have any answer regarding his incompetence, he in return terms Nawaz Sharif ‘a corrupt or a traitor’.
She further criticized the incumbent government saying that we haven’t seen any better performance from the government, but there is a heap of scandals we can witness, adding that the public will hold Imran Khan accountable for every difficulty.
Tabedaar Khan used to say that he won’t take loans for the betterment of people, but Imran Khan has set new records for loans, added Maryam Nawaz.
Speaking about the public crisis, the Vice President backlashes PTI government for their fake promises regarding declined inflation. She said, “They used to say that the rulers are corrupt and the people pay the price through inflation, but today, even the government employees are protesting against PTI.”
Maryam felt pity for the premier’s selectors and said that Imran Khan’s selectors did not know that he would turn out to be so incompetent and his incompetence has to be answered by his selectors, added the PML-N leader.
Even people are asking from where do you people find this gift, she went on to add.
The leader also termed the Prime Minister as COVID-18 and said that Pakistan’s government had gone under quarantine since he came to rule the country.
“Electricity, gas and flour were quarantined after the arrival of COVID-18 [Imran Khan],” said Maryam.
In other words, we are having Imran Khan as the deadliest disease we have to deal with, the VP claimed.
Concluding her addressing, Maryam Nawaz extend thankfulness to the people of Lahore who gathered and stood against the incumbent government.
She further felt satisfied and claimed that even the people in Lahore want the government to pack their bags as they have enough of the crisis since the ‘elected Prime Minister’ came.
